Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground chicken
  • 1/2 lb Ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Potato starch
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp White pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Beef broth
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 0 Curry ketchup
  • 0 Mayonnaise (egg-free)
  • 0 Chopped onions

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, ground beef, potato starch, chopped onion, minced garlic, nutmeg, white pepper, and salt.
  2. 2Add beef broth and mix well until a smooth paste forms.
  3. 3Shape the mixture into long, thin sausages (about 4-5 inches long).
  4. 4Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. 5Fry the frikandels in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
  6. 6Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. 7Serve hot with curry ketchup, egg-free mayonnaise, and chopped onions.
