Ingredients

  • 2 large Sweet Potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons Berbere Spice Blend
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine the 2 large Sweet Potatoes, which are already peeled and cut into fries. Add the 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil, the 1.5 tablespoons of Berbere Spice Blend, the 1 teaspoon of Garlic Powder, the 0.5 teaspoon of Salt, and the 0.25 teaspoon of Black Pepper. Toss everything together until the sweet potato fries are evenly coated.
  3. 3Spread the coated sweet potato fries in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring they do not overlap too much. This allows them to cook evenly and become crispy.
  4. 4Bake the fries in the preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes. After about 10-12 minutes, carefully flip the fries to ensure even cooking. The fries are done when they are tender when pierced with a fork and have slightly crispy edges.
  5. 5Remove the baking sheet from the oven and serve the fries immediately.
