Ethiopian-Spiced Beef Stir-fry (Gluten-Free)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Beef sirloin
  • 2 tablespoons Berbere spice blend
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper
  • 1 medium Yellow onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce (gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 4 cups Cooked rice (gluten-free)

Instructions

  1. 1Slice beef sirloin into thin strips.
  2. 2In a bowl, toss beef strips with berbere spice blend.
  3. 3Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  4. 4Add beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. 5Add sliced red bell pepper and yellow onion, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  6. 6Stir in minced garlic and ginger. Cook for another minute.
  7. 7Add gluten-free soy sauce and stir to combine.
  8. 8Serve immediately over cooked gluten-free rice.
