Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Barley
  • 0.25 cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 0.25 cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • 0.25 cup Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Niter Kibbeh (Spiced Clarified Butter)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2Add barley, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and sesame seeds to the skillet.
  3. 3Toast, stirring frequently, until lightly browned and fragrant (about 10-15 minutes).
  4. 4Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl.
  5. 5Melt Niter Kibbeh and pour over the toasted grains and seeds. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. 6Season with salt. Let cool before serving.
