Ingredients

  • 1 lb Frozen French Fries
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil (for frying)
  • 0.5 cup Dairy-Free Mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup Peanut Sauce (dairy-free)
  • 0.25 cup Chopped Onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. 1In a large heavy-bottomed pot or a deep fryer, add the 2 cups of vegetable oil. Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2Carefully add about one-third of the 1 lb of frozen French fries to the hot oil. Fry for 3 to 5 minutes, until the fries are golden brown and crispy. Using a slotted spoon or spider strainer, carefully remove the cooked fries from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain. While the fries are still hot, sprinkle them with about one-third of the 0.5 teaspoon of salt.
  3. 3Add another one-third of the 1 lb of frozen French fries to the hot oil. Fry for 3 to 5 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove the cooked fries with a slotted spoon or spider strainer and place them on the paper towel-lined plate to drain. While hot, sprinkle them with another one-third of the 0.5 teaspoon of salt.
  4. 4Add the remaining one-third of the 1 lb of frozen French fries to the hot oil. Fry for 3 to 5 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove the cooked fries with a slotted spoon or spider strainer and place them on the paper towel-lined plate to drain. While hot, sprinkle them with the remaining one-third of the 0.5 teaspoon of salt.
  5. 5Arrange all of the salted fries in a serving bowl or on individual plates. Drizzle the 0.5 cup of dairy-free mayonnaise and the 0.25 cup of peanut sauce generously over the fries, then sprinkle the 0.25 cup of chopped onion evenly over the top.
