Ingredients

  • 1 lb Potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Dairy-free mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Peanut-free satay sauce
  • 1/4 cup Onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  2. 2Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. 3Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 325°F (160°C).
  4. 4Fry the potatoes in batches for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  5. 5Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  6. 6Increase the oil temperature to 375°F (190°C).
  7. 7Fry the potatoes again for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. 8Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.
  9. 9Top the fries with dairy-free mayonnaise, peanut-free satay sauce, and chopped onions. Serve immediately.
