Ingredients

  • 2 oz Dried dulse seaweed
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp Sea salt

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. 2Rinse the 2 oz of dried dulse seaweed under cold running water. Pat it thoroughly dry with paper towels. Tear or cut the dulse into approximately 1-inch pieces.
  3. 3In a medium bowl, combine the prepared dulse pieces with the 1 tsp of olive oil and the 1/4 tsp of sea salt. Toss gently until all the dulse pieces are evenly coated.
  4. 4Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned dulse pieces in a single, even layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring no pieces overlap.
  5. 5Place the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. The dulse crisps are done when they are visibly shrunken, brittle, and crispy to the touch.
  6. 6Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven. Allow the dulse crisps to cool completely on the baking sheet for at least 5 minutes; they will become even crispier as they cool before you enjoy them.
