Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 4 cups Almond Milk
  • 8 Medjool Dates (pitted and chopped)
  • 4 tablespoons Tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Get a large heavy-bottomed pot and add the 2 cups of Rolled Oats and the 4 cups of Almond Milk.
  2. 2Add the 8 Medjool Dates (pitted and chopped), the 4 tablespoons of Tahini, the 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon, and the 1 pinch of Salt to the pot.
  3. 3Place the pot over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a boil. This should take about 5 to 7 minutes. Watch for large bubbles breaking the surface.
  4. 4Once boiling, immediately reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. The oatmeal is ready when it has thickened and looks creamy.
  5. 5Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit for 1 minute before serving. This allows it to thicken slightly more.
  6. 6Serve the Dates and Tahini Oatmeal hot.
