Ingredients

  • 4 medium Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 teaspoons Speculaas spice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 medium Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Plant-based butter
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Maple syrup

Instructions

  1. 1In a small bowl, combine speculaas spice, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture onto the chicken breasts.
  2. 2Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of plant-based butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. 3Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. 4Add remaining plant-based butter to the skillet. Add apples and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. 5Drizzle with maple syrup and cook for another minute.
  6. 6Serve the chicken with the sautéed apples.
