Ingredients

  • 8 each Pre-made Gluten-Free Tartlet Shells
  • 1 pound Veal, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Dry White Wine
  • 1 cup Dairy-free Cream
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Broth
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2Heat the 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the 1 pound of veal, thinly sliced, and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until browned on all sides. Remove the veal from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
  3. 3Add the 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped, and the 2 cloves garlic, minced, to the same skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened and the garlic is fragrant.
  4. 4Add the 8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced, to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms have released their liquid and started to brown. Pour in the 1/2 cup of dry white wine and scrape the bottom of the skillet with a spoon to loosen any browned bits. Let the wine simmer and reduce by about half, which should take 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5Stir in the 1 cup of dairy-free cream and the 1/4 cup of vegetable broth. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has slightly thickened. You can tell it's thickened when it coats the back of a spoon.
  6. 6Return the cooked 1 pound of veal to the skillet with the sauce. Stir to combine and heat the veal through for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped, the 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and the 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  7. 7Carefully spoon the veal and mushroom mixture into the 8 each pre-made gluten-free tartlet shells. Fill them evenly.
  8. 8Place the filled tartlets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the filling is bubbling and heated through. Serve warm.
