Ingredients

  • 1 lb Smoked snoek
  • 4 oz Plant-based cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Chives, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 8 slices Rye bread

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2Place the smoked snoek on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through.
  3. 3Remove the skin and bones from the snoek and flake the flesh.
  4. 4In a bowl, combine the flaked snoek, plant-based cream cheese, lemon juice, chives, and black pepper.
  5. 5Mix well until smooth.
  6. 6Spread the snoek paté on rye bread slices.
  7. 7Serve immediately or chill for later.
