Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 2 cups Almond Milk
  • 1 cup Fresh Berries (mixed)
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Get ready by placing a medium saucepan on the stove.
  2. 2Add the 1 cup of rolled oats, 2 cups of almond milk, and the 1/4 teaspoon pinch of salt to the saucepan.
  3. 3Turn the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Watch for bubbles forming around the edges. Once it starts to boil, immediately turn the heat down to low.
  4. 4Let the porridge simmer for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir it occasionally with a spoon to prevent sticking. The porridge is ready when it has thickened to a consistency you like, looking creamy and less watery.
  5. 5Carefully pour the thickened porridge into two serving bowls.
  6. 6Arrange the 1 cup of fresh mixed berries on top of the porridge in each bowl.
  7. 7Drizzle the 2 tablespoons of maple syrup over the berries and porridge.
  8. 8Serve immediately while it is warm and comforting.
