Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp Instant Yeast
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/4 cups Warm Water
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Za'atar Spice Blend
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the warm water and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. 2Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  3. 3Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. 4Punch down the dough and divide it into 6 equal portions.
  5. 5Roll each portion into a thin circle, about 6-8 inches in diameter. Place the circles on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. 6In a small bowl, combine the za'atar spice blend with 1/4 cup of olive oil.
  7. 7Spread the za'atar mixture evenly over each dough circle.
  8. 8Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the topping is fragrant.
  9. 9Serve hot.
