Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Instant Yeast
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Plant-Based Milk (Oat or Soy)
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Avocado
  • 2 tbsp Zaatar

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. 2Warm plant-based milk slightly. Add it to the dry ingredients along with the oil.
  3. 3Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  4. 4Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. 5Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a round or oval.
  6. 6Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. 7Let the bread cool slightly. Slice avocados and sprinkle with zaatar.
  8. 8Serve the khameer bread warm with avocado and zaatar.
