Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Dairy-free butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 each Apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine gluten-free flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. 3Cut in dairy-free butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. 4In a separate bowl, combine diced apples, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  5. 5Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of an 8x8 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  6. 6Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crumble base.
  7. 7Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the apples.
  8. 8Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. 9Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
