Ingredients

  • 4 Ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Rice Flour
  • 1/4 cup Tapioca Flour
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 cup Sparkling Water
  • For frying Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. 1Peel the bananas and cut them in half or into diagonal slices.
  2. 2In a bowl, whisk together rice flour, tapioca flour, sugar, salt, and turmeric powder.
  3. 3Gradually add sparkling water to form a smooth batter. The batter should be thin enough to coat the bananas lightly.
  4. 4Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or wok over medium heat.
  5. 5Dip each banana slice into the batter and carefully drop it into the hot oil.
  6. 6Fry until golden brown and crispy (about 2-3 minutes per side).
  7. 7Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
