Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3 cups Coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup Dates
  • 1/4 cup Coconut flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Vegan Butter

Instructions

  1. 1Pit and chop the dates.
  2. 2In a saucepan, heat coconut milk over medium heat. Add chopped dates and cook until softened.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt.
  4. 4Gradually add the flour mixture to the coconut milk mixture, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
  5. 5Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens to a porridge-like consistency.
  6. 6Stir in cardamom powder and vegan butter.
  7. 7Serve warm, garnished with coconut flakes.
