Ingredients

  • 1 lb Frozen Edamame Pods
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1Place the 1 lb Frozen Edamame Pods in a large pot with enough water to cover them. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and let the edamame steam for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are tender when pierced with a fork.
  2. 2While the edamame are steaming, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, combine the 2 tbsp Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar, 1 tsp Sesame Oil, 1 tsp Ginger, and 1 tsp Maple Syrup. Whisk these ingredients together until they are well combined.
  3. 3Once the edamame are tender, carefully drain them. Transfer the drained edamame to a large bowl.
  4. 4Pour the prepared sesame-ginger glaze over the steamed edamame in the large bowl. Toss gently to coat all the edamame pods evenly with the glaze.
  5. 5Sprinkle the 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds over the glazed edamame. Serve immediately.
