Ingredients

  • 6 Vegan Chocolate Tartlet Shells
  • 2 medium Avocado
  • 1/2 cup Cacao Powder
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Pinch of Salt
  • optional Fresh Berries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If your 6 Vegan Chocolate Tartlet Shells are not pre-baked, place them on a baking sheet and bake until they are lightly crisp and golden, about 15 minutes.
  2. 2Place the 2 medium avocados (pitted and scooped out), 1/2 cup Cacao Powder, 1/4 cup Maple Syrup, 2 tablespoons Unsweetened Almond Milk, 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract, and 1 pinch Pinch of Salt into a food processor.
  3. 3Process the ingredients in the food processor until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, with no lumps of avocado remaining.
  4. 4Carefully spoon the smooth chocolate avocado mousse into each of the 6 Vegan Chocolate Tartlet Shells, filling them evenly.
  5. 5If you are using them, arrange the optional Fresh Berries on top of the mousse in each tartlet for garnish.
  6. 6Place the filled tartlets in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This chilling time is important to allow the mousse to set properly before serving.
