  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Pinch Saffron Threads
  • 1/2 cup Date Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. 2In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron threads.
  3. 3Add the yeast mixture, egg, and coconut milk to the dry ingredients. Whisk until smooth. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
  4. 4Heat a lightly oiled griddle or pan over medium heat. Use coconut oil for cooking.
  5. 5Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
