Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Dairy-free Chocolate Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium saucepan, combine the 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 cup coconut milk, and 1 tablespoon cocoa powder.
  2. 2Place the saucepan over medium heat (350°F / 175°C). Stir the mixture constantly as it heats up until it just begins to bubble around the edges, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
  3. 3Reduce the heat to low (250°F / 120°C). Continue to cook the oatmeal, stirring frequently, for 5 to 7 minutes, or until it has thickened to your preferred creamy consistency.
  4. 4Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the 1 tablespoon maple syrup until it is fully incorporated.
  5. 5Pour the thickened oatmeal into a serving bowl.
  6. 6Sprinkle the 1 tablespoon dairy-free chocolate sprinkles evenly over the top of the oatmeal.
