Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sweet sticky rice (glutinous rice)
  • 2 cans Coconut milk
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Rinse the sticky rice and soak in water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2Drain the rice and transfer to a pot.
  3. 3Add coconut milk, brown sugar, and salt.
  4. 4Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, until the rice is cooked and the mixture has thickened (about 40-45 minutes).
  5. 5Transfer to a greased pan or serving dish. Let cool slightly before serving.
