  • 8 slices Barmbrack, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Dairy-free milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Dairy-free butter alternative
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the 8 slices of Barmbrack into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
  2. 2In a shallow dish, whisk together the 1/2 cup of Dairy-free milk, 1 Egg, 1/4 tsp Cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. 3Dip each bite-sized piece of Barmbrack into the dairy-free milk and egg mixture, ensuring each piece is coated on all sides.
  4. 4Melt the 2 tbsp of Dairy-free butter alternative in a 10-inch non-stick skillet over medium heat, which is about 350°F (175°C).
  5. 5Carefully place the coated Barmbrack pieces into the hot skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the bites are golden brown and slightly puffed.

  7. 7Drizzle the 2 tbsp of Maple syrup over the Barmbrack bites before serving.
