Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Agar Agar Powder
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 can Coconut Milk(replaces Evaporated Creamer)
  • 1/2 cup Rose Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium saucepan, whisk together the 2 tbsp Agar Agar Powder and the 4 cups Water. Make sure there are no clumps of agar agar powder.
  2. 2Add the 1 can Coconut Milk and the 1/4 cup Sugar to the saucepan. Place the saucepan over medium heat.
  3. 3Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Once it reaches a rolling boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring continuously. You should see small bubbles consistently rising to the surface.
  4. 4Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the 1/2 cup Rose Syrup until it is fully combined with the mixture.
  5. 5Carefully pour the liquid mixture into a serving mold or individual serving cups.
  6. 6Allow the mixture to cool completely at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This is important to prevent cracking when refrigerating.
  7. 7Once cooled, cover the mold or cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the agar agar is firm and set. It should have a jiggly texture.
  8. 8Serve the chilled Dairy-Free Bandung Agar Agar immediately.
