Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Desiccated Coconut
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 4 oz Dairy-Free Spread
  • 2 tablespoons Golden Syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 tablespoons Boiling Water

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, desiccated coconut, and sugar.
  3. 3In a saucepan, melt dairy-free spread and golden syrup over low heat.
  4. 4Mix baking soda with boiling water and add to the saucepan.
  5. 5Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.
  6. 6Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. 7Flatten the balls slightly with a fork.
  8. 8Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. 9Let cool on the baking sheet before serving.
