Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pita Bread
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Za'atar Spice Blend
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Original measure retained: its cup/spoon or fluid-volume standard is unspecified.

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 190°C.
  2. 2Using a knife, cut the 4 pieces of Pita Bread into small triangles or squares, about 2.54 cm in size.
  3. 3In a medium bowl, add the cut pita bread pieces. Pour the 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil over the pita. Sprinkle the 2 tablespoons of Za'atar Spice Blend and the 1/4 teaspoon of Salt on top.
  4. 4Use your hands or a spoon to toss everything together until the pita pieces are evenly coated with the olive oil and spices.
  5. 5Spread the coated pita bread pieces in a single, even layer on a baking sheet. Make sure they are not overlapping.
  6. 6Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. You are looking for the pita pieces to be golden brown and feel crispy to the touch.
  7. 7Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven. Let the za'atar pita bites cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.
