Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice Flour
  • 1/2 cup Applesauce, unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cloves Powder
  • 3 cups Oil, for deep frying

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine the rice flour, applesauce, sugar, water, cardamom powder, and clove powder. Mix well to form a smooth batter.
  2. 2Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  3. 3Pour a ladleful of the batter into the hot oil, forming a ring shape.
  4. 4Fry the sel roti until golden brown on both sides.
  5. 5Remove the sel roti from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  6. 6Serve warm or at room temperature.
