Ingredients

  • 4 cups Cooked white rice
  • 4 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 stalks Scallions
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Chili garlic sauce

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. 2Mix soy sauce, sugar, and chilli garlic sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. 3Spread the cooked rice in a thin, even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. 4Press the rice down firmly with a spatula to compact it.
  5. 5Brush the rice with the vegetable oil.
  6. 6Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until the rice is golden brown and crispy around the edges.
  7. 7Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  8. 8Break the crispy rice into smaller pieces.
  9. 9Drizzle the rice with chili garlic sauce mixture and sprinkle with sliced scallions.
  10. 10Serve immediately.
