Chipá Bites

Small, cheesy, and gluten-free bread rolls made with cassava flour and cheese. A staple snack in Argentina.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cassava flour (tapioca starch)
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup Grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 4 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 0.5 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine cassava flour, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and salt.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.
  4. 4Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. 5Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. 6Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly puffed.
