Chimichurri Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette
  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Fresh Parsley
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Oregano
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Slice the 1 baguette into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  2. 2Finely chop the 1 cup of fresh parsley, 1/4 cup of fresh oregano, and 3 cloves of garlic.
  3. 3In a medium bowl, combine the finely chopped 1 cup of fresh parsley, 1/4 cup of fresh oregano, and 3 cloves of garlic. Add the 2 tbsp of red wine vinegar, 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of black pepper.
  4. 4Measure 3 tbsp of the 4 tbsp of olive oil and add it to the bowl with the chimichurri mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated and the sauce is evenly coated.
  5. 5Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush one side of each baguette slice with the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil, then arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. 6Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast for 5-7 minutes, or until the baguette slices are golden brown and slightly crisp at the edges. Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven.
  7. 7Spoon a generous amount of the prepared chimichurri sauce over the toasted baguette slices and serve immediately.
