Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Vegan Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Berbere Spice Blend
  • 2 tablespoons Honey

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, mix together the flour, water, and salt to form a dough.
  2. 2Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. 3Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  4. 4Roll out each portion into a thin circle, about 8 inches in diameter.
  5. 5Heat a dry skillet over medium heat.
  6. 6Cook each flatbread for 2-3 minutes per side, until lightly browned and cooked through.
  7. 7While the flatbreads are cooking, melt the vegan butter in a small saucepan.
  8. 8Stir in the berbere spice blend.
  9. 9To serve, drizzle the spiced vegan butter over the flatbreads and drizzle with honey.
