Ingredients

  • 1 head Cauliflower Florets
  • 1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
  • 2 tbsp Almond Flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Original measure retained: its cup/spoon or fluid-volume standard is unspecified.

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to about 205°C (200°C).
  2. 2Steam the 1 head of cauliflower florets in a steamer basket over boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are tender enough to be easily pierced with a fork.
  3. 3Transfer the steamed 1 head of cauliflower florets to a food processor. Add the 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast, 2 tablespoons of almond flour, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt to the food processor. Pulse the mixture until it is well combined but still retains a slightly chunky texture.
  4. 4Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them between your palms to form bite-sized pieces, about 2.54 cm in diameter. Arrange these formed bites in a single layer on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper.
  5. 5Drizzle the 2 tablespoons of olive oil evenly over the cauliflower bites on the baking sheet.
  6. 6Bake the cauliflower bites in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and feel slightly crispy to the touch.
  7. 7Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven and serve the cauliflower bites warm.
