Ingredients

  • 1 block Firm Tofu
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 0.5 medium Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Curry Powder
  • 0.75 cup Coconut Milk
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable Broth
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro

Instructions

  1. 1Press the tofu to remove excess water and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. 2Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3Add minced garlic and grated ginger and sauté for another minute.
  4. 4Add turmeric powder, chili powder, and curry powder and cook for a few seconds.
  5. 5Add the tofu cubes to the pan and stir gently to coat them with the spices.
  6. 6Pour in coconut milk and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  7. 7Stir in soy sauce and lime juice. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
