Ingredients

  • 1 cup Buckwheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a medium mixing bowl, combine the 1 cup of buckwheat flour, 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir these dry ingredients together thoroughly.
  3. 3Add the 1/2 cup of water and the 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the dry ingredients in the bowl. Mix everything together with a spoon or spatula until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. 4Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out very thinly, aiming for a thickness of about 1/16 inch (approximately 1.5 mm).
  5. 5Carefully peel off the top sheet of parchment paper. Using a knife or a pizza cutter, cut the rolled dough into approximately 1-inch squares or rectangles.
  6. 6Slide the bottom sheet of parchment paper, with the cut crackers still on it, onto a large baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the crackers are golden brown and feel crisp to the touch.
