Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pretzel dough
  • 1/4 cup Baking soda
  • 8 cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Coarse salt
  • 1/4 cup Yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. 2Cut the 1 lb Pretzel dough into small, bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
  3. 3In a large heavy-bottomed pot, bring the 8 cups Water and 1/4 cup Baking soda to a rolling boil over high heat.
  4. 4Carefully add the pretzel bites to the boiling water, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Boil for 30 seconds, then remove them with a slotted spoon and place them in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. 5Immediately sprinkle the pretzel bites with the 2 tbsp Coarse salt.
  6. 6Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and puffed up.
  7. 7Serve the Brezel Bites warm with the 1/4 cup Yellow mustard on the side for dipping.
