Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Beef sirloin
  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp Tapioca Flour
  • 3 tbsp Avocado oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 1/4 cup Soy-Free Oyster Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil

Instructions

  1. 1Slice the 1.5 lbs Beef sirloin into bite-sized pieces, about 1/4-inch thick. In a medium bowl, toss the beef slices with the 2 tbsp Tapioca Flour until each piece is evenly coated. Set aside.
  2. 2Heat 2 tbsp of Avocado oil in a large 12-inch skillet or wok over high heat until it shimmers, about 400°F (200°C). Add the coated beef in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid crowding the pan. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes per side, until the beef is browned and cooked through to an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
  3. 3Add the remaining 1 tbsp Avocado oil to the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add the 3 cloves minced Garlic and 1 tbsp minced Ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn them.
  4. 4Add the 4 cups Broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp. You should still be able to hear a gentle sizzle.
  5. 5While the broccoli cooks, in a small bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup Soy-Free Oyster Sauce, 1/4 cup Chicken broth, 1 tbsp Brown sugar, 1 tsp Rice vinegar, and 1 tsp Sesame oil until well combined.
  6. 6Pour the prepared sauce over the broccoli in the skillet. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring gently, until the sauce has thickened slightly and coats the broccoli.
  7. 7Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the broccoli and sauce. Stir everything together to coat the beef evenly with the sauce. Cook for another minute to heat the beef through.
  8. 8Serve the Beef and Broccoli immediately, ideally with rice.
