Banana Cue (Caramelized Bananas)

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Saba Bananas
  • 1 cup Coconut Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
  • 4 pieces Bamboo Skewers

Instructions

  1. 1Peel the saba bananas and cut them in half crosswise.
  2. 2Thread two banana halves onto each bamboo skewer.
  3. 3Heat the coconut oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. 4Add the coconut sugar to the pan and let it melt, stirring occasionally, until it forms a caramel.
  5. 5Carefully place the banana skewers into the caramel, coating them evenly on all sides.
  6. 6Fry the bananas until golden brown and the caramel is bubbly, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. 7Remove from the pan and let cool slightly before serving.
