Ingredients

  • 1 package Phyllo Dough
  • 4 large Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/2 cup Dairy-Free Margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (Dairy & Nut-Free)
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Raisins
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and lemon juice.
  3. 3Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with melted dairy-free margarine.
  4. 4Repeat with 5-6 more layers of phyllo dough, brushing each layer with margarine.
  5. 5Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top layer of phyllo dough.
  6. 6Spread the apple mixture evenly over the breadcrumbs.
  7. 7Carefully roll up the phyllo dough into a strudel shape. Brush the top with more melted margarine.
  8. 8Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
