Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Desiccated Coconut
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 125 g Butter
  • 2 tbsp Golden Syrup
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tbsp Boiling Water

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
  2. 2Combine rolled oats, flour, desiccated coconut, and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. 3Melt butter and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. 4Dissolve baking soda in boiling water and add to the melted butter mixture.
  5. 5Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.
  6. 6Roll the mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. 7Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
