Ingredients

  • 1 lb Andouille Sausage (fully cooked)
  • 1/4 cup Creole Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your grill to medium heat, which is about 350°F to 400°F (175°C to 200°C).
  2. 2Cut the 1 lb Andouille Sausage into 1-inch pieces.
  3. 3Thread the sausage pieces onto skewers. If you are using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before this step to prevent burning.
  4. 4In a small bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup Creole Mustard, 2 tbsp Maple Syrup, 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, and 1 tbsp Olive Oil until well combined to create the glaze.
  5. 5Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning them occasionally. During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the skewers with the Creole mustard glaze. Continue grilling until the sausage is heated through and has a lightly caramelized appearance.
  6. 6Remove the skewers from the grill and serve immediately.
