Ingredients

  • 1 lb Andouille Sausage (sliced)
  • 1 lb Fresh Okra
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Creole Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Hot Sauce
  • 12 count Wooden Skewers

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your grill to medium heat, which is about 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a bowl, combine the 1 lb Andouille Sausage (sliced) and 1 lb Fresh Okra. Add the 2 tbsp Olive Oil and 1 tbsp Creole Seasoning, and toss everything together until the sausage and okra are evenly coated.
  3. 3Carefully thread the coated sausage and okra onto the 12 count Wooden Skewers. Alternate between the sausage and okra on each skewer.
  4. 4In a small bowl, whisk together the 1 tbsp Honey and 1 tsp Hot Sauce until they are well combined. This is your glaze.
  5. 5Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning them occasionally. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the skewers with the honey-hot sauce glaze. The sausage should be cooked through, and the okra should be tender when done.
  6. 6Remove the skewers from the grill and serve immediately.
