Ingredients

  • 1 kg Fresh clams
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 0.5 cup Dry white wine
  • 0.25 cup Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.125 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Rinse the clams thoroughly under cold water. Discard any clams that are open and do not close when tapped.
  2. 2Heat olive oil in a large pot or skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  3. 3Add the clams and white wine. Cover and cook until the clams open, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any clams that do not open.
  4. 4Stir in cilantro and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. 5Serve immediately with crusty gluten-free bread for dipping.
